What’s one thing you wish you had known in those first 48 hours?
“You need a 3 ring binder of some sort, with those clear plastic sheets to keep track of things in, paper and a pen. Do Not Google ANYTHING! It will only lead to more anxiety.”
What helped you the most in those first 48 hours?
“My husband. We just hung on to each other those first few days.”
What is one moment in those first 48 hours that you’ll never forget?
“Trying to get an IV in my son’s arm for the first time. It’s took over an hour and six adults.”
If you could go back, what’s one thing you’d tell yourself?
“It’s ok to not be ok.”
