Andrew is 68 weeks into his chemo treatment. He rings the bell on March 29th. He had resection on July 25 2018 and due to many complications spent five weeks in the PICU. When we came home he had many Drs appointments and needed rest. So for us isolation was very easy. It was not as easy for my other kids as we used to be a very on the go family. But this was a time for us to come together, enjoy the time together and we actually liked slowing down. We haven’t even gone to church with Andrew. My husband and I take turns going out, take turns spending one on one time with the older kids. It hasn’t been easy but we know that this is temporary and this is what’s best. Now we are in even more uncertain times and have to hunker down even more. Since we know the reality of how bad things can be, we don’t like to take any chances.
