State Comprehensive Cancer Control Plan

What is a State Plan in relation to childhood cancer?

The National Comprehensive Cancer Control Program (NCCCP) within the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) mandates each state to publish a Comprehensive Cancer Control (CCC) Plan.  The CCC identifies how the state addresses the burden of cancer in its geographic area.

Just because a state plan mentions childhood cancer doesn’t mean it has a detailed strategy for dealing with it. You can view your own state’s Comprehensive Cancer Control Plan here. Click on a state name to download.
