What’s one thing you wish you had known in those first 48 hours?

“How strong my son really was. How strong I really was. I was so broken in those moments.”

What helped you the most in those first 48 hours?

“Watching my son smile. As he still had no clue he had C… he hadn’t even heard the word yet. I wouldn’t allow anyone to speak about anything around him until I had more answers.”

What’s is one moment in those first 48 hours that you’ll never forget?

“Laying there that night hours after I got his diagnosis listening to him sleep and just looking at the lights above me. I didn’t move like I was in shock.”

If you could go back, what’s one thing you’d tell yourself?

“Never ever give up.”
